Created with openElement.  Super pleased with it and proud of it.  It is a little slow to load.  I have tried resizing all of the images, but maybe not sure how big of a sacrifice to make in reducing image quality.  I should probably reconsider the complexity of how frequently I use images to create textures for the website, but I love the way it looks.

Many people on this forum have been helpful over many years, probably started designing this site in 2014, with no prior experience.  Thanks to those that created this and to those keeping it alive.

Right, it is very much to slow.
are these large images really necessary?
do they tell anythink important? or even confuse the customer?
customers want quick information, and they don't absolutely not to want until something appears.
they just leave, and never come back again.

you might try to automatically optimize images.
Project...Preferences...Maintenance...Optimize all website images.
These images must then not manually selected to be excluded from process.
Before performing this task make a plain full copy of the project.

There are white spots both sides of the menu bar

Do not use spaces in picture names within OE

Picks
Order Online Chalk.png is 510 Kb
Concrete background    is 361 kb
Old Wood Menu Bar      is 324 kb 
etc

These should be reduced especially if they are background images
