Is it possible to switch (try) different templates on an existing project and keep pages, content, etc.

Hi,

No, it's not like a CMS. A template in OE is in fact a project, that you can completely rework if you wish, it's much more than a set of styles; thus it can't be applied onto content. Sorry.
