SEO Info and Metas
I looked for a tutorial or post about this, but didn't find one.
I'm looking for suggestions on things I should do with my completed site.

"Main Meta Tags"
Should I enter this info on the Home page? Base layer?
Or, on every page?

Page Title and Description are explained, so this should not be a problem.
Unless you have any suggestions.

Other Meta tags.
Not exactly sure what to put here. 
"name and value"? I don't understand.

[top right] "Optimize the address"
The dropdown is in French, so I don't understand.
There are many french things, even though I have selected English as the language.

"Search Phrases"
-Main Search Phrase  ...should this be a single sentence search, or just some keywords?
-Secondary search phrases  ...same question
-Others   ...?

okay. I'm not concerned with how to get on Google.
I understand the various tags and things.

I was asking what to fill in the blanks of the OE forms.
It doesn't clearly explain what content to enter and in what format (for the various sections).

NetObjects asks for the same things, but its much clearer about how to enter the information.
Every software has a different approach.

Meta data is there for SEO

Google explains meta data and SEO it's a good guide on what to add as meta data no mather if it is for Google, Bing or other.

If you want to be referenced on the net your site need to be crawled by google bots and other crawlers.

Poeple use Google and other providers to search.  These services will ignore you without meta data

Look at what needed to be enterred with NetObjects and implement the same in your site

My apologies, there is obviously a big language barrier here.
Your english seems good, but you never answer my questions directly.
Its as if you think I am asking a different question.

I understand what meta data is.
I understand what SEO is.
I understand how Google works.
I understand that certain data is needed to be properly found and examined by search engines.

I just don't understand the window in OE.
I posted an image above of the two windows.
I don't understand exactly what to enter in the blocks.
What words? in what order? what formatting?

Once again, I don't think you will understand my english question.

Je comprends ce que sont les métadonnées.
Je comprends ce qu'est le référencement.
Je comprends comment fonctionne Google.
Je comprends que certaines données sont nécessaires pour être correctement trouvées et examinées par les moteurs de recherche.

Je ne comprends tout simplement pas la fenêtre dans OE.
J'ai posté une image ci-dessus des deux fenêtres.
Je ne comprends pas exactement ce qu'il faut entrer dans les blocs.
Quels mots? dans quel ordre? quel formatage ?

Encore une fois, je ne pense pas que vous comprendrez ma question en anglais.

In NetObjects, the SEO stuff is outside the pages...and its applied to all pages once filled in.

Can you show me the SEO dropdown window of one of your websites.
Let me see what info your entered...and how you entered it?

Some infos are page specific 

Some are global.

You can use a layer for global meta and tie it to every pages

When the SEO is too long I enter it trough an htm code block in header position

OE interface is too heavy to manipulate.  It's made to hold your hands and to write the code for you.  But it takes for ever to enter.
