Since a year I'm fiddeling around with that lousy mouseover.
Can't find the clue. I put a very much melt down code onto the server. The discrepancy is the behaveour of the appearance on text and background inside link-buttons. Maybe I still don't understand the principle. So I better ask for an enlightment. That is the expected website (by far not complete yet). The buttons are colored according to the color of the flowers. All buttons are controlled by a style sheet (presets) in the right column. As soon as I move the cursor ontop of the colored buttons (mouseover), they should 'swap' to complementary colors. All buttons change their background colors correctly. The text should change color, too. But it doesn't. The text portion does not change on mouseover, though the background(color) changes as specified. What do I miss? I have the uncertain impression, that the text is somehow not related to the button. A sample melt down site digitest.one. Does not change any color, even if the style sheet commands it so. Details as usual per private message. Would be great to receive a clarification.
Thanks. -digi- Edited by digizar - Dec 08 2018 at 1:41am |

Hi, You stumble upon the known CSS "feature": link colors can't be controlled simpty with the "color" property, as if there's a link inside an element (which is the case here), it will use a color for links as a priority. Which is why OE proposes, in the top menu "Style zone - xxxx", a special Link Style menu allowing to set the color of the links on an element - normal, on mouseover etc. Try to use it, it should work |

Well, that is exactly what I did. And it worked correctly.
But only within a page-individual range, not in global project-range. Thank you for the explanation. I expected it already somehow.
Will find a way. Edited by digizar - Dec 08 2018 at 11:24pm |

If you wish to force default link color, you can add a Code Block type CSS on the base layer with the code (for example - gray): a { color: #808080; }
