Uh, Sorry.....

I already try to change my SMTP setting. With right setting but got this message.

An error occurred during sending. The message has not been sent.

error02 - SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.

Sorry for another troubling question. And thanks a lot.

Either your hosting provider blocks communication with the SMTP server, or you've made a mistake somewhere while filling in SMTP configuration (may easily happen).

So, It's basically can block SMTP server in some app/website. Even though in another website it's working properly?

I'm totally a beginner in this area. Really sorry for the trouble I make.
Ah, ya. In SSL checkbox, should I check it or not when configure the SMTP setting?

Thank you so much.

For SSL, it shoudl be specified in the SMTP server's instructions.

To make sure the server works, tru to use an email client application (like Thunderbird or Outlook) with this SMTP server, using exactly the same parameters.

Then, if your hosting is free, it is often impossible to make the sending emails work. Otherwise it would be too easy for spammers to use it.

Hm, yes. Thank you ver much, Dmit.

It's really better to use real hosting that provide more support in this case.

You really help me. Also, thanks for your patience.

So, I don't need to checklist the ssl button right?

Thank you.

Sometimes yes sometimes not, as I said it depends on which SMTP service/server you use. For example for SMTP GMail it used to be necessary.

If using SMTP from GMail, it should be like this right?

ex :
  • Gmail SMTP server name: ssl://smtp.gmail.com
  • Gmail SMTP username: junxxxxxu@gmail.com
  • Gmail SMTP password: xxxxxxxx
  • Gmail SMTP port: 465 (need to checklist the ssl checkbox right?)

and unblock GMail for my access.

Strangely enough, the mail setting (default) is working. But didn't get any message from it even though successfully sent.

But, once more again. Thank you very much.
Will trying to use 2 different hosting for now.

Thanks.Smile

server name just smtp.gmail.com (no need to ass ssl:// if you check the checkbox)

But I don't think GMail lets sending emails. Even before one would need to unblock by following a number of links. And it will never be garanteed to continue work even if somehow you manage to send several test mails with it. If this funcionality is important, you don't have much choice but to use a paid hosting.

Yeah, you're right.

Better to use the real hosting instead using some for test.

Thank you very much for your patience.
